Welcome to Blómandi Studio. I'm Laura, an artist, textile and surface pattern designer based in the far north of the Scottish Highlands. Blómandi Studio brings together my love of painting, pattern, and people. From my studio in the far north of the Scottish Highlands, I create hand-painted textile designs, original artwork, and creative projects that celebrate colour, nature, and connection.

I create hand-painted floral, botanical, and nature-inspired designs for home interiors, fashion, and giftware.
Every collection begins with paint, paper, and a brush, each design created by hand, one brushstroke at a time.
With over twenty years of industry experience a I've worked with brands, retailers, and creative teams to bring ideas to life, combining artistic creativity with strong technical expertise in repeat pattern design, engineered layouts, collection development, trend research, and creative direction.
